Terrorist Kill 3, Abduct Several Persons In Fresh Niger Terror Attack

Terrorists have killed three persons and abducted over 20 others in an attack on Rumache Madalla in Bassa/Kukoki ward of Niger State on Thursday.

One of the abdutees is a ommunity leader, Mallam Jagwalla Wassa.

The Nation learnt the attack occured around 4 pm on Thursday when the terrorists invaded the community with sophisticated and dangerous weapons.

Several other residents sustained gunshot injuries and are receiving treatment in medical facilities.

The terrorists also vandalised shops and burgled houses, carting away food items and other valuables.

Calls to the Niger Police spokesman DSP Wasiu Abiodun were not answered.
