*Topic: MAKE A VOW OVER THAT CHALLENGE.*

_Then she made a vow and said, O Lord of host, If you will indeed look on the affliction of your maidservant and remember me, and not forget your maidservant but will give your maidservant a male Child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head. 1 Samuel 1 : 11._

There was a man called Elkannah, He had two wives, Hannah and Peninnah. Penninah had two children but Hannah didn’t have any. Each year Elkannah and his family would travelled to tabernacle in Jerusalem to worship God and he would give God sacrifice., on the day of sacrifice, Elkannah gave meat to peninnah and her children and also gave Hannah hers because she had no children. Because of Hannah’s childless condition, Peninnah would make fun of her and she would cry and refuse to eat. Elkannah her husband who loved her so much would beg her to eat. One day, Hannah went to the house of God knelt at the alter and cried unto God. She made a vow that if God would have pity on her and give her a son, she would give the son back to Him. God blessed her with a baby boy whom she named Samuel. When Samuel was of age, Hannah took him to the house of God and handed him over to Eli, the priest for God to use.
Beloved in Christ, Whenever you make a vow to God, let us always fulfill it like Hannah did and the Lord will add more blessings to us as He gave more son’s and daughters to Hannah for fulfiling her vow, wiping away her tears and shame forever.

*PRAYER* : Dear Lord, I bless your name this morning for your Divine grace upon me, through the help of the Holy Spirit may I be able to fullfil my vow like Hannah in Jesus name I pray Amen.
