ABIA: Labour Party’s Ginger Emerges House Of Reps Member Elect In Abia
The standard bearer of the Labour Party for Isiala Ngwa North and South federal constituency, Mr. Ginger Onwubibe, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s poll.
He emerged with 20411 votes to defeat his closest rival, Professor A. C. B Agbazuere of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 13, 508 votes. The APC came third after its candidate polled 2, 976.
Meanwhile, Onwubibe was a member of the Abia State House of Assembly. He ditched the PDP in 2022 and defected to Labour Party following some loggerheads with the State Governor.
