Read his message below:
I Mourn, Kelechi Why?
I am totally bewildered by the death of a “Son,” Kelechi Ihueze who passed on about 96 hours ago.
Yes, I met Kelechi in Abuja under a certain circumstance and ever since I adopted him as a Son and brother.
At a time, he had health challenges, I rallied round to ensure that he lived. And to God’s glory, Kelechi’s life was preserved.
At Red Cross Nigeria, Kelechi made his mark as a diligent and innovative Administrator.
He stood by me and believed in me. Kelechi in appreciation of our relationship would gather the world to celebrate my Birthday every single year.
In business, he left an indelible mark as he showed high level of discipline in financial management and wealth creation.
I lost a worthy and beloved Son.
I was in the United States when his wife called me, explaining his critical condition. I was on them and it didn’t take long before he breathed last. I am back home because this is one death, too many.
Kelechi, though you transited at your prime, leaving your family, associates, friends and Well-Wishers heart broken, we surely will cherish your good memories.
You extended hand of fellowship to many, especially the youths. You learnt to help and many found their compass by your generosity.
Death is cruel, snatching the essences of humanity when unexpected and bringing pains to our souls.
Fare thee well great Son!
I pray God for the repose of your soul and hoping to see you again on the resurrection morning.
