Alban Chimelu Okeke For Burial April 20:  Senate Minority Whip, Senator Ngwu Pays Tributes

The Senator Minority Whip, Senator Ostia Ngwu has paid glowing tributes to late Chief Alban Chimelu Okeke, describing him as a man who influenced his community positively.

Senator Ostia Ngwu communicated his condolences in a letter he personally signed and addressed to one of his political associates and second son of the late nonagenarian, Hon. Victor Okechukwu Okeke.

The letter reads in part: “On behalf of the people of Enugu West Senatorial District, I write to convey our heartfelt condolences on the death of your dearly beloved father, Chief Alban C. (Ogbuefi Ezeomeogo I of Umuabi Udi).”

He described late Alban Okeke as a man of wisdom whose devotion to his family and Community was very admirable. 

Continuing, “Indeed, he lived an inspirational life that positively impacted the society…”

Meanwhile, the Okeke family have said they will give their father a befitting burial because he was a loving father who sacrificed everything for his children.

They called on relations, friends, well wishers and associates to join them on Saturday, April 20, 2024 as they will lay him to a final rest.

According to his first Son, Ignatius Afam Okeke, Friday, April 19, 2024 will be wake keep to thank the Lord for his mercies and  for a life well spent for their father, which will take place at late Chief Okeke ‘s country home, Umuanaeke, Enugu Amaju Umuabi, Enugu State.
