Governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have dismissed rumour making the round that President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had an altercation.
The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that the vice president presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, September 25.
Sanwo-Olu, who stated this at the inaugural of the APC governors steering committee on media and communication, said governors deal with facts and not rumours.
He urged Nigerians to continue to support the Buhari-led administration.
Recall that NewsTrack had reported that: Vice President, Prof. Osinbajo ready to wave his constitutional immunity to clear his name.
In his tweet, he had also instructed his lawyers to prosecute those he said had maliciously published falsehood against him among whom is Timi Frank and others.
