Imo Auditor-General, Local Govts Gives Alleged Blackmailer Seven Days To Retract Malicious Allegations Or Face Legal Action


Contrary to the report published on Opera News and other online news platforms Imo Auditor General for Local Governments, Barr. Reuben Osita Nwosu is under EFCC and ICPC radar, Barr Nwosu through his lawyers has described the said publication as  false and defamatory.

The Auditor-General for Local Government Areas of Imo State, Barr Reuben Osita Nwosu through his lawyers in a letter titled: “Demand To Retract: Withdraw and Apologise To Barr. Reuben Osita Nwosu (Auditor General, Local Governments, Imo State) – Re: Defamatory Publications Against Barr Reuben Osita Nwosu Published By You  On Social Media And Horn Newspapers”, has issued one Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha, behind the reported blackmail story, seven days ultimatum to retract his false allegations and defamatory publications or face a legal action.


The said letter from Solid Stars Solicitors was served on Mr Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha on February 12, 2021 at 8:45am, which the alleged blackmailer, Iwuoha acknowledged and published on his Facebook wall, making jest of the legal implication.

The Auditor-General Local Government Areas issues the retraction letter, which Iwuoha acknowledge its receipt also requested of him to apologise publicly and publish his apology on social media handles just the way he had five defaming Barr. Nwosu.


Meanwhile, Iwuoha is known for controversies, having allegedly maligned his bosses in the past.
He was allegedly flogged by the former Governor of Imo State for allegedly maligning him despite being his benefactor.

Ikenna Samuelson, alleged blackmailer


He was also put away in police custody for an issue related to false and malicious publication against his former Boss and former Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, alleging corruption charges against his late boss, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu.
The letter among other things demands that Samuelson knew that the Barr. Nwosu neither falsified his age nor over stayed in the service since the office was appointive, where the extant laws allow the occupier of the office retire at the age of 60.


Barr. Nwosu further call for retraction of false allegations that he was involved in salary padding racketeering, thereby defaming his hard earned good name image. The letter further explained that Barr.

Nwosu has never been indicted nor have ever been invited by any panel for any charges, thereby calling for immediate retraction and public apology.


The solicitors are also calling on Mr. Iwuoha to retract and publicly apologize to Barr. Nwosu for falsely and maliciously calling him the face of corruption on his Facebook account.


Looking at the said documents Iwuoha is spreading, it is neither signed nor indicate that Barr. Nwosu has ever been invited by any panel to defend whatever action alleged. 
NewsTrack Nigeria (newstrack.com.ng) further discovered that the alleged difference in the salaries was occasioned by the absence of political appointees after the emergence of Governor Hope Uzodimma after the Supreme Court Ruling, declaring him as the the legal winner of Imo State 2019 Guber election.


With the development over the alleged malicious publications against Imo Auditor-General, Local Governments, the die is cast as this is the first time Iwuoha would be facing the battle of his life over alleged series of blackmail against notable personalities.
