LG Boss, Chikwe Preaches Tolerance, Sacrifice At Easter

The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Ahiazu Mbaise local government area of Imo State, Hon. Larry Chikwe has congratulate the Governor of Imo State and the good people of Ahiazu Mbaise on the auspicious occasion of Easter.

Chikwe made the statement at Ahiazu Mbaise local government headquarters while speaking to newsmen.

Chikwe described Easter celebration as very critical to the Christian faith because it borders on the salvation of mankind, which Christ, the son of God bought with his blood at the cross of Calvary.

“The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is the critical event that define Christian faith as it brought to an end to the man’s eternal destruction.

“It was one sacrifice too many. That a man should, unsolicited, lay his life for his friends that they may be saved from eternal destruction as a result of their sins.

“I will encourage our people in Ahiazu Mbaise and Imo State at large to learn from the sacrifice of Christ because as Christians we must learn to tolerate others and forgive when those who have wronged as long as they have sincerely repented of their ways.

He use the opportunity to salute Governor Hope Uzodimma for his choice of working for Imo people despite pausity of funds as a result of mismanagement and impropriety, describing him as taking the steps of Christ.

He urged Imo people to follow the principles of Christ and that the society will prosper.
