The son-in-law of the former Governor of Imo State and former Governorship Candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Hon. Uche Nwosu has been reportedly kidnapped.
He was allegedly kidnapped this morning in St. Peters Church (Anglican Communion), Diocese of Orlu in Eziama-Obaire, Nkwere local government area of Imo State.

“While the church was still at worship, some group fully armed men invaded the church, shot sporadically as people scampered for safety.
“As worshippers were falling over one another, they went straight to Uche Nwosu and captured him as they shoot their out of the church, causing different degrees of injuries caused by stampede.
“They drove out in a gestapo manner without anyone knowing where they took him to”, he stated.
Meanwhile, our Editor called the PPRO of Police at about 12 noon to verify the incident but his phone remained busy as at the time of press.
An Imo based senior Lawyer described the incident as unbelievable, wondering how dare devil kidnappers could have invaded a holy place to kidnap Nwosu. He said it might also be an arrest.
Nwosu buried his mother his mother on December 22, 2022, which was followed by the suspension of three lawmakers, an action most people believe had political undertone. They were said to have attended the funeral.
