BREAKING: President Buhari Shelves Zamfara Visit
President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly cancelled his scheduled visit to Zamfara State on Thursday.
The Governor of the state, Bello Mattawale confirmed the report.
The Governor however disclosed that President Buhari cancelled the trip due to poor weather conditions that affected his flight.
He said a new date for the President’s visit to the State would be announced later.
President Buhari was billed to pay a sympathy visit to Zamfara over the gruesome killings of innocent lives by terrorists.
The President was scheduled to fly to Zamfara after a working visit to Sokoto State where he was to commission some projects but he went back to Abuja instead.
