Anokwute Hails Gov. Hope Uzodimma On His Emergence As Progressive Governors Forum Chairman, National Honours Awards

The Orlu born Business mogul turned politician, Chief Adolph Anokwute, has heartily congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his emergence as the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF).

Anokwute expressed his excitement on Governor Uzodimma’s rising profile and recognitions during an interactive session with select newsmen in Owerri

He said: “With Governor Hope Uzodimma’s emergence as the Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), this will to a very large extent put him in a better position in negotiation and in attracting more visible and invisible investments to the State and Igbo Land in general.

“For us in State, we are not surprised by his rising profile because we appreciate his effort in the state; commerce and businesses have been bolstered through his massive infrastructural Developments across the state and other investment friendly projects.

“Every politics is local and every discerning mind can appreciate the level of work and effort he has put in the state.

“He has continued to contribute to the national development, especially in the project of a more united Nigeria devoid of rancour and bitterness among the people. This he has continued to do in both private and public service.”

“On behalf of my Market development team, we also celebrate with the Governor on the National Honours Award of the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).

“The same Award coincided with the Distinguished Senator Uzodimma’s recognition with the conferment of the highest Award by the Rivers State Government as a member of the leagues of Grand Service Star of Rivers State (GSSRS).”

We encourage the Governor to remain focused in his bid to reposition the state for greater glory.

He therefore called on the people of the state to join hands and support the Governor to succeed, saying that if he is given an unfettered support, Imo people “assuredly will be the greatest winners”, he stated.
