There is palpable confusion over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nomination of former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Festus Keyamo, as minister last minute.
The president also withdrew the ministerial nomination of Maryam Shetty from Kano and replaced her with Dr Mairiga Mahmud.
While the reason for the reshuffling is not known, it is confusing as to the reason it the President the 11th hour to make the changes.
This will certainly unsettle Maryam Shetty’s supporters and Loyalists of Maryam Shetty.
The same faith had befallen Imo born politician and businessman, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.
Ararume had to go to court to challenge his sudden removal when he had not even resumed on his expected responsibility on the Board of NNPCL.
Though he got judgement, what has become of that ruling is still shrouded in the same political mystery of injustice.
