Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Nurse Now In Police Custody Over Mohbad’s Death
Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad passed away on September 12.
The circumstances surrounding his demise were contentious, leading the Lagos State Police Command to initiate an inquiry to determine the cause of death.
During this investigation, the police authorised the exhumation of his body for a thorough autopsy, and they are presently awaiting the results.
Meanwhile, the police have invited three suspects for interrogation.
Here are three people in police custody over MohBad’s death:
1. Nurse:
The nurse who administered the Tetanus vaccine on him was reportedly arrested and found to be an unlicensed nurse on September 19, by the Lagos State Police Command.
Actress Iyabo Ojo made this known on Instagram after a meeting with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to discuss progress on the police investigation of Mohbad’s death.
2. Sam Larry:
Lagos State Police Command announced the arrest of controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry on September 28.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, confirmed the development on his X page on Thursday, September 28, saying that Sam Larry was assisting with the ongoing investigation.
3. Naira Marley:
The Lagos State Police Command has detained controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley.
He was said to have reported to the Police shortly after arriving in Nigeria but was taken into custody yesterday.
