Title: Praise God with Joy!
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise. . . .— Hebrews 13:15
Have you ever wondered what you can do for God? Well, in the book of Hebrews, it says that we can offer a special kind of sacrifice to God – a sacrifice of praise! But what does that mean?
Imagine this: You receive a special gift from someone you love. How would you feel? Happy, right? You would want to say “thank you” and show your gratitude. Well, that’s exactly what we can do for God! We can offer Him our thanks and praise because He gave us the best gift ever – Jesus! God has done something amazing for us! He sent Jesus, His Son, to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. That means we don’t have to bring any more sacrifices to priests. Instead, we can offer a different kind of sacrifice – a sacrifice of praise! This means we can show our love and gratitude to God by praising Him with our words and actions.
You see, Jesus came to save us from our sins. He took all our mistakes and wrongdoings upon Himself and died on the cross. But guess what? He didn’t stay dead! He rose again, giving us new life and hope. Isn’t that amazing?
So, how can we offer our sacrifice of praise to God? Well, it’s simple! We can praise Him with our words. We can say “thank you, God” and tell others about His love. We can also praise Him with our actions. When we help others, share with them, and show kindness, we are offering a sacrifice of praise to God.
But remember, we don’t do these things to earn our salvation. Jesus already did that for us! We do good things because we are grateful for what God has done. We want to show our love for Him by being kind and helpful to others.
Thought for Reflection Take a moment to think about all the wonderful things God has done for you. How does it make you feel? Can you think of ways you can offer a sacrifice of praise to God? Maybe you can start by saying “thank you” to Him every day and finding ways to help others. Remember, every act of kindness is a way to praise God!

Prayer
Dear God, thank you for sending Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. We are so grateful for all that You have done for us. Help us to live a life of praise, offering our thanks and love to You through our words and actions. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
