Great Ife Alumni Global President Addresses Members On New Year, 2024
At the beginning of every year, any responsible would ready address the followers either to reiterate the resolve to continue with already laid out plan or give a new new direction as the case may be.
Great Ife Alumni Association Worldwide Global President, Barr Fred Aburu, as expected has addressed the members across the world opening up on the journey so far since he took up the mantle seven months ago.

GREAT IFE!!!
It is with immense gratitude to Almighty God that I welcome us all into the new year, 2024.
As we look back over the past seven months of this administration, there is much to be appreciated in the way God has favoured Great Ife Alumni Association.
Between May 27th and December 31st 2023, we have had three successful GEC meetings. Q2 GEC meeting was hosted by the global body at our world headquarters Ile Ife Osun State from 7th to 9th July, 2023 while Q3 GEC meeting was hosted by Alimosho Branch between 29th and 1st October, 2023. Owerri Branch took its turn and hosted Q4 GEC meeting from 15th to 17th December, 2023.
To the glory of God, the ground break breaking ceremony of our Alumni Bar and Restaurants was performed on 28th September, 2023. I am happy to state that work on the building has progressed tremendously.
Within the period under review, we were able to invest substantially in the upgrade of our Alumni Centre Guest House. We have also completed the furnishing of Charlet 4 which has accounted for improved business activities and patronages at the Guest House.
We participated actively in the just concluded convocation ceremony of our University, decorated and inducted some of the young graduates into the global alumni family.
The year 2024 will be a defining year as we shall collectively embark on various interventions to support the University’s efforts in the maintenance and development of infrastructure and other projects within the University Community.
We have an obligation to re-dedicate our efforts with renewed energy and enthusiasm towards achieving the core mandate of our Association.
