Bayelsa Guber election: Three LGAs in Kogi left to be collated, Collation still ongoing

The local government has 109,460 registered voters while accredited voters were 70,111. Votes scored by parties are;
APC: 7,831

Dr Ibrahim Dauda Mohammed, the Returning Officer in the area said this was due to issues of over voting and card readers problems.
In Ichala ward, polling unit 002 had 356 votes cancelled while another polling unit 05 had  301 votes cancelled.
In Ogbegene ward, another polling unit had 356 votes cancelled.

1013 votes were cancelled in three polling units in two wards in Idah local government area.

914 votes cancelled in Mopamuro LGA due to ballot box snatching
Returning Officer for Mopamuro local government area in the Kogi governorship elections, Dr Isa Mohammed Nurudeen, says 915 votes were cancelled in two wards due to ballot box snatching and vandalization.
In the election in the LGA which has 9, 093 accredited voters out of 23, 030 registered voters, the APC got 4, 953 while the PDP got 3, 581

Minister of State for FCT, Hajia Ramatu Ali arrived the state collation centre at the INEC headquarters in Lokoja at about 11.56am to witness the collation of results.

She was immediately ushered into the venue even though majority of accredited journalists were denied access.

Lyon leads in Bayelsa

The governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, Chief David Lyon is ahead of his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Douye Diri as unit results trickled in after Saturday’s governorship election.

Generally, unit results showed that Lyon was leading the PDP Candidate, Douye Diri, in Southern Ijaw, Nembe, Brass, Ogbia, Ekeremor, and most areas in Yenagoa, local government areas.

The results further showed that Diri was not doing well at his Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area as most units especially in Odi and Kaiama voted for Lyon. Read More: Lyon leads in Bayelsa
