The Imo State Government has approved the reconstitution of boards of four Government agencies which includes with a view to rejigging them for more effective and efficient service delivery.
Most of the Boards of various Imo State Government Agencies and Commissions were dissolved after the emergence of Governor Hope Uzodimma as the validly elected Governor of Imo State as declared by the Apex Court.
The Boards have been left void to the extent that it was beginning to take a toll on the effectiveness of some of the Agencies among some of them are Heartland Fc, ISOPADEC, Imo State Primary health Development Agency, Civil Service Commission among others.
With the development, it will create for injection of more innovation and efficiency in the affected commissions and agencies.
Below are the affected MDAs:
A. The boards of Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ISOPADEC) which has its members as:
1) Chief Charles Orie – Managing Director.
2) Gilbert Nwosu – Member (Oguta)
.3) Casmir Ohamra – Member (Oguta)
.4) Goodluck Bioke – Member (Ohaji/Egbema)
5) Engr.David Ogbuji – Member (Ohaji/Egbema)
.6) Vincent Odi – Member (Oru East).
7) Nkenna Nzeruo – Member (Oru East).
8) Evang. Greg Okpe – Member (Owerri Zone).
9) Uche Agabige – Member (Orlu Zone)
10) Justice Chikezie – Member (Okigwe Zone).
B. Imo State Specialist Hospital, Owerri which has it’s members as:
1) Dr. Prosper Ohayagha…… Chairman.
2) Barr. T. U. Asoegbu…. Orlu Zone.
3) Sir J. S. Obi..Repesenting Okigwe Zone.
4) Mr. Evans Anozie….. Owerri Zone.
C. Board of Heartland football club Owerri with members as:
