Breaking: Chelsea Are 2021 EUFA Champions

The campaign for the EUFA Champions League has come to a dramatic end with Chelsea defeating its arch rival, Manchester United by one goal to nil in Porto.

The winning goal was scored by Chelsea midfielder, Kai Havertz at 43rd minute of the first half.

The former Leverkusen  player who got the first goal of the game just before half time, as Kai Havertz splits the Manchester City defence and collects a Mason Mount pass before rounding the on-rushing Ederson and slotting the ball into the empty net. It’s his first Champions League goal. Not a bad time to open his account, right?

The tension soaked match did not disappoint football lovers as the two English football giants gave a good account of themselves.

It was gave with heart and grits as every moment, especially the concluding minutes as Manchester City had opportunities to equalize with mesmerizing play from Marez.

For ball possession, Manchester City had the day with 58 percent while the Champions had 42 percent.

It will go down in history that the coach of the victorious Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel has finally broken the jinx of winning UCL.

With today’s outcome, Chelsea has bounced back as Champions since 2012 when it won it’s last UCL.

Interestingly, N’Golo Kante emerged the man of the match for his ubiquitous and effective role to ensure side is always out of danger and making progress.
